I don't ever believe that this actually would happen, but who knows, time to lower the prices for Europe next summer so they can get full houses instead of half empty? They will probably not do that in the cities that were sold out or near sold out at the cancellation though....??
How about £50 for a ticket? Then I can travell trough Europe watching them without getting my wallet burned....

£50 a ticket ? Dream on. I'd love to see it mind you, but I won't.

if they charged the same prices as most major bands do (with the couple of exceptions of other acts who are also expensive but not as much as the Stones are) theyd fill any stadium anywhere year after year. The prices simply ARE prohibitive to most people. They dont have the hardcore audience that they used to who will support this year-in year-out. Hopefully, the fact that they struggled to fill most stadiums last summer will give them a reality check, but I dont think it will.
the fact is though the current tour has made money.. and i'm pretty sure each venue has too so they have no reason to lower the prices.. wish they would though
what i'd like is to get rid of that stupid pre-sale rubbish where i have to pay $100 just so I can get a code to buy tickets
well..with the benefit of hindsight, at least now we know that what with the way tickets get distributed, you wont need to do that for next year. Certainly not for large scale shows.
I think they'll HAVE to announce a couple of theatre shows if theyre going to expect people to renew their memberships in any great numbers. And no empty promises to do so like they did in May 2005 - actual announcements.
