according to the subject you had to be at all the shows to choose the best.

I don't think that anybody here can say he's been to every show.

So the question/vote can only be Best show you have seen?

And don't forget there've been many many other great shows beside the US ones.

Well this is a tough thread to be accurate as most have been to a handfull of shows at best and hard ti have a true opinion of a show you only have heard about...but....

Based on my shows; Glendale I & II, Amsterdam, and Austin, and the setlists and what I have read on the others, I vote for Zilker Park in Austin TX.

Austin had a very unique setlist, unique vibe and venue and was filmed so the boys were really in top form and it was a smokin' show!

For some reason, Boston was very blessed with 5 excellent shows and I also saw three in NY/AC that were also quite good.

Gillette Stadium in Foxboro on 9/20/06 stands out for me as the best because it was both least predictable and also a tour leg opener. After that:

Atlantic City 11/17/06 (Loving Cup. Keith lives!)
Fenway-Boston 8/21/05 (Opener. Keith plays left better than M. Ramirez)
Fenway-Boston 8/23/05 (better performed than, but not, the opener)
New York -RCMH 3/14/06 (A classic for the ages; Worried About You)
Boston Garden 1/15/06 (Rocks Off, Memory Motel, Gimme Shelter - Wow)
Boston Garden 1/13/06 (My 10 year old son's first; we were both thrilled)
New York -MSG 9/13/05 (Get Up Stand Up)

Wow, I thought the Atlanta 05 show was better than the 06 show. Had better seats though.

St Louis was as good as it gets ...Worried About You was great...and the whole show was intense

The opener of the Fall USA tour this past Sept 20 with PAINT IT BLACK as the OPENER shook us all up! AWESOME! The LIVE WITH ME, MONKEY MAN, and SWAY! OH MY GOD, what a night! Not to mention Keith recycling LITTLE T&A, a real highlight of the entire tour! He also did a mind-blowing YOU GOT THE SILVER which was followed by the loudest applause that he'd heard in years! The entire night was unforgettable, I had the shivers for the entire set!

out of all the shows i saw ,i would say Albany,NY...How about it? any one else there?

I only saw one show and that was in my hometown of Austin, TX 10/22/06. It was a great show with 3 cover songs, 2 of them being world premieres (Bob Wills is Still the King and Learning the Game.) Plus their first time ever to play here so it was a major news event. Hopefully we'll all get to see it on DVD soon.

Also, it didn't hurt that I got to meet the band backstage before the show...

Bassale, read my post just above yours!! And Boston Rambler, yes, the Fenway shows were A GAS! HEARTBREAKER!!! YIPPEE! How about the Hartford Show on Sept 27th I think it was? Awesome! Get Up, Stand Up had the crowd crazed! The energy level of Mick was a 15 on a scale of 1-10 at the Radio City show, March 14, 2006. His feet hardly touched the floor the entire night and yes, WORRIED ABOUT YOU and AS TEARS GO BY! WHAT A BUZZ!
