Mick and Cricket

I'm watching the Ashes live in Sydney on TV and the commentator just said that Mick Jagger is sending sms text messages to his fellow commentator. 4.30PM in Sydney which makes it 5.30am London time. I assume he is not happy with his English cricket team who are being walloped by Australia

He sure is crazy about cricket. A lady I know works for them now and then. She says they always bring his personal SkySports subscription cards, so he can put it into the decoder and get the cricket results and see the cricket games he wants to see. And a TV of high quality has to be installed in his quarters. He gets upset if he doesn't get to see his cricketmatch. In case there's no match on before the shows, a selection og good matches on DVD is always available. Then he warms up his voice in a huge room, draped in white cloth. Sometimes while watching cricket.

The news that he's got the top grossing tour of all time should ease his pain....

Cricket is tedious.

No it isn't.

Anyway, I should think it's quite likely that Mick will show up in Oz once he's dealt with any matters arising from his father's death. He could do with a good break. I'll have to keep an ear open for him popping into the TMS box.

You might have to scrape me off the floor at the end of the tour, but it'll be really good scrapings. - Mick Jagger
