Last concert on American soil? Last for the current line-up? Last stadium show? It feels like an era is passing to me, just with all that has gone down lately with the band, their age, etc. I just don't see them continuing, at least in the current format. Thoughts?

Yeah BB. I bought a ticket for this show before they changed the date, just because I have the means to travel, and see shows outside of my area for the first time ever. Then they changed the dates. I am feeling a little nostalgic that (this could be) The Last Time.

Vanvouver is America too - North America - even if it is Canada. There is a show there on Saturday 25th. Just for the record. LA is the last show of the United States.

Glad you get to go. I'll be there. It'll be a great show, I'm sure. At least that's what I'm hoping. I was disappointed in Anaheim show last year.

Yeah BV, we know there is one more show left in Van. nothing against our canadian friends, but just from a historical standpoint, LA could be the last american show. I hope I am wrong, but it is worth noting.

I was at Anaheim. LA Crowd, 40 Licks setlist, and absolute the worst crowd handling of any venue I have ever seen -- they didn't open the gates until late, and it took 1 hour + to get in the stadium. But, as I recall, it was a beautiful Southern California night, and everyone went home happy.

_______ kinda/sorta interested bigbang what ya didnt like about the anaheim gig (besides the setlist)..

im at times overly critical of the band, an i thought they brought it too us that beautiful southern calif. night as the doctor just mentioned......
arrived at the stadium late, got to my position five minutes before blastoff so cant critique people management or other logistics..

It's a rock concert, not a funeral! I hope everyone doesn't start bumming the way they have been here and ruin the show. It's a rock concert in a stadium, I am sure they will be back in a few years in some form or another. What else would they do?

Well. beside the fact that my seat kinda sucked,... Thought the performance was perfunctory from Keith and Ronnie, and Keith's set was a major disappointment. He even made some offhand comment before his set that made me feel like "yeah, whatever, our accountants are almost finished counting the money, let's get this over with." Just got a bad vibe and, to be honest, left there feeling these guys were on the homestretch, at least as far as this long-time fan was concerned. But obviously I'm coming back for more, so we'll see.smiling smiley

Its going to be a great show, and the odds are its going to be the last on US Soil, i dont think they can do it any more, Keith Richards Health wont allow them to tour anymore.

Just for the record most people tend to think of the United States when the hear or say America unless of course it is prefixed by North or South. Here endeth today's anal retentive moment!

whether it is the last U.S. show or not I won't be bummed. They have had a good long career, and I will have had the pleasure of seeing 19 shows. If they come back again, great. If not thanks for the memorys boys.

I think the roadies should scoop up some dirt from centerfield of Dodger Stadium and pack it with the rest of the Stones' tour gear. If the roadies sprinkle some of that dirt on stage wherever the band plays, every Stones performance can be their last on American soil.

As for the crew scooping up the soil at Dodger Stadium...don't give the band ideas, next thing you know the band will package a pinch of dirt in a keychain and sell it for $749.99 - 5% RS.COM member discount.

It should be a great show tonight with 7-9 songs not played in the previous 4 area shows on this tour. I kind of expect Sweet Virginia to be played, along with Let's Spend The Night Together and possibly Ain't Too Proud To Beg. Maybe a few other surprises as well.

As far as some of the concerns people have had about Ronnie's physical condition, I think he's fine as he was at the art gallery party on Sunday, mingling for 3 hours and on Monday he was also out socially.

Hope everyone gets to the show on time in spite of 405 and sends the Boys off with tons of good vibes....

wish I could be there but Boise was a fine fine last show of the 14 I saw on this tour...

I believe they will be back, just maybe shorter tours, smaller venues - that's my prayer at least.

Happy Thanksgiving to all. Sarah
