Man Roadster32, you have an awesome collection of superb guitars!

do you even let go of one, if you get another?

Thank you.

Well, there've been a few that left the building.

Some fell in the category "not well enough chosen" and some in the category "optimising my collection".

When I started collecting I had a vision of what my collection should look like.
Now after a years and years there are only two missing, i.e. a Gibson SG and a Gibson ES-355.

So the search goes on....

And don't worry I'm not a collector in the narrow sense, they all get enough time in the amp and will be well played.

I have a 2005 Tokai Love Rock "Black Beauty". A good quality Les Paul knockoff. Also a candy apple red 2014 Mexican Strat. I have an acoustic Yamaha, don't know the year. My amp is a Fender-Deluxe. I don't really have bragging rights in the guitar world, but I love them, and they sound great (my strat is permanently in Open G)

I'm a fan of MIJ/CIJ guitars. As of now, I only have a CIJ Fender Mustang and Strat. Would like to get a Burny, or Tokai, sooner or later.

Any pics of your Tokai? Trying not to get too personal but, did you buy it new? If so, who did you order it through?

What is your opinion on your Mexican Strat? I have an '03 MIM. I've changed pups. Other than that, I haven't touched it. The guitar feels and plays great. The MIM Fenders can be nice guitars.

I'm so hooked on this amp's vibrato channel. It has a modded Bassman tonestack. With this guitar and a boost in front. Man, balls to the wall rock n' roll!!!

I don't care what questions you ask! smiling smiley you can't get too personal with guitars. Here's a picture of one that's almost identical to my Tokai, to give you an idea of what it looks like (I don't have any pictures of mine, sorry).

I didn't buy the Tokai new, I bought it from a college student who used to use it in his jazz band. It was/is in great quality.

I really like my Mexican strat! I like the smooth maple wood, and it has a nice bright, twangy sound. I use a pedal to make it sound more like Keith. I think the MIM instruments are usually really well made! You can't get more rock n roll than with Fender (I believe, anyway)!

Sweet!! Looks like fun! I wouldn't worry so much about breaking the speaker in, but it's gonna take some time to break that new axe in. Real nice combination, congratulations.

No picture, but I have a 1971 Les Paul Custom triple pickup Sunburst, with a Fender Twin. Also, two Schecter Basses, an Ibanez Bass, a set of Roland drums, a theremin, and a noodle. Custom drum riser, Ampeg amps, two acoustic guitars (not shown), mics, PA, mixing console, multi-track recorder (some not shown).

Thanks! They do sound great together. Leaving for Quebec soon and the new axe is coming along.
