Superstition! Great song. Look at the lights shining from the back, the same as on the Stones´
stage...

Never seen it before.

probably is on the Stones stage......the lights coming down in the back look like Chip Monck's work on the Stones '72/'73 tours....

Definetely looks like '72! God I whish I could hear the whole concert! Great clip. Didn't know there excisted any filmed songs from his set, though I knew he played at both Houston concerts. Thanks a lot.

Absolutely 1972. Which city, though?

I thought thought one of the Houston shows (1st I believe) is the one that Stevie missed. I know he was the opening act for the '72 tour but I'm pretty sure Mick tells the audience in the Ladies and Gentlemen film right before "Tumbling Dice" that they're "sorry you didn't get to see Stevie Wonder but we'll do our best." It's also been documented in Greenfield's STP book and in Victor Bockris' Keith Richards autobiography that Wonder missed a show...missed his flight or something. Can't remember exactly but I know he missed a show and I just figured it was Houston because of what Mick said.

Your absolutely right Tumbling_Dice_07. According to the book "The Complete Recording Guide to the RS", Stevie Wonder Did'nt miss Fort Worth, it was Houston. It also mentions that "the band was minus the drummer who'd begun having a nervous breakdown in Chicago."

Yes, Steve did open up for the Stones in '72 and I have a bootleg DVD somewheres and he jammed with the Stones on a couple of songs during their set.
Cool.

The drummer who had the breakdown wasn't Ollie. Ollie can be seen in CS Blues during NYC #1 before the "Uptight/Satisfaction" encore, behind Mick, who has a tea towel around his neck prior to going back out to finish up.

At the show I saw in Philly in 72, the Stones played Satisfaction for the encore. And Stevie came back out andjoined the Stones for Satsifaction... and at one point they blended the Satisfaction riff into Stevie's "Uptight." Mick was leading Stevie by the hand around the stage... very cool. It's on a cd "Philadelohia Special" I think.

You are dead on...both the Friday afternoon and the Friday night concerts happened exactly the way you said it did. I once had the tambourine from that song, until a "friend" stole it. I was in the 1st row behind the stage on MT's side for both concerts. Absolute killers!
