Is it me or Daltrey's voice is total off?

The worst DVD of 2006. Chosing Lyon was a huge mistake!!!

So it seems. Daltrey and Townshend look exhausted. It's painful to watch & hear. Striking contrast with the Stones.

I was in Lyon. the concert was very good but, indeed, Daltrey's voice was off on several songs (behind blue eyes for example). Pete Townsend was great.

Pino is a great bass player but still seems like they have him mixed a tad low. He's almost note for note but his rig doesn't have that distorted fuzz thunder sound that John used. Their overall live sound these days seems a bit flat because of this.

A surprising choice for the bonus CD/DVD. There were lots of better shows, showcasing both the band and Roger's voice.

Roger's voice is much improved on what it was about 5 years ago. Lyon wasnt one of his better nights this year.

Yeah, he's on and off vocally. He has the balls to still scream during WGFA. Lost his voice briefly in Chicago.

It was a very off night for the who on this dvd. i think a few nights before the lyon show they played the best show of the euro tour from what i read in reviews. saw them last week in san jose, 2 days after The Stones in oakland, Daltrey voice was on and pete well its pete. I enjoyed it a lot more than the stones in oakland. but the stones shows in san fran the year before were the best ive seen of the stones.

Yeah, what ashame, his vocal particularly on Naked Eye were shocking. But man the Endless Wire is a great disc! They really came through on it. I saw The Who on their last tour with Entwhistle and they were incredible (double bill with The Black Crowes/Jimmy Page)....and Daltry's voice was great...

God, I thought I was the ONLY one who was dissappointed ( and I truely LOVE the WHO!!!). They seemed very old and tired. Figuring this must be the best they had to offer as an official release, it made me glad not to invest 600-700$ on the dvds of the tour. If anyone can recommend truely good-great shows worth buying, I'd appreciate it!!

How strange - I just finished watching/listening to it before I got on the computer and i thought Daltry's voice was just totally SHOT - really kinda threw me..... why on earth would they pick this as a bonus DVD ? Come on Pete, WTF?

I have seen several DVD's of recent shows and they were all much better than the Lyon show. A poor choice to package with the new CD. And the new CD, "Endlesswire" is very good.
