I know there have been whole books of mis-heard lyrics. Anyone got any favorites?

What does this mean : "tasteful, don't you agree?". I didn't get it.

I'm sure that you noticed another thread "Tasteless Yet Funny..." or something like that. Which almost everybody thought was tasteLESS.

So I was trying to just knock that thread off of page 1, just by posting "tasteful,.." to a bunch of other threads. Never mind...

I read on a website for "misheard lyrics" that one guy thought the line in Elton John's song "Tiny Dancer", "Hold me closer, tiny dancer" was actually "hold me close, I'm trying to dance, sir".

There's a website somewhere with thousands of these. One of the best Stones one is "Heartbreaker, with your bowling ball."

Haven't read the 3-pager, but I HAVE to add this one.... On Back of my Hand, instead of "I see dreams, I see visions..." I heard "I see dreams, I see vaginas..." I listened to it over and over!! Then I read the lyrics. OOPS! It's just Mick's odd pseudo drawl, I think... but I STILL keep hearing it when I listen to ABB.

When I first listend to "Think" instead of "tell me who's fault is that, babe" I heard "tell me who's fond of back ache" I knew it was wrong, but couldn't figure out what the real words were untill I looked them up. I still hear it.
