Can you guys please post some pics of Charlie behind his drums (Rockman?)? I've just gotten into drums recently and I'd be interested in seeing some pics of Charlie's drums and setup.

Really great Rockman! You'll have to drink something else than water today, then.
Isn't the 4th picture from Charlie Watts' jazz band ?

Yeah, it's so cool that he keeps the drumkit so very alike during the years.
In addition to the different kit, on that 4th shot, Charlie also did have that haircut on some Jazz band shows...I've seen that picture in a book somewhere..maybe Street Fighting Years?
Picture #2 is quite hillarious, BTW, with that girl and that big police-guy.

Charlie plays round badge Gretsch, 8x12, 16 tom and 22 bass. Most of the late 60's and seventies he used a 5x14 Ludwig snare, early 80's a 6 1/2x14 Super Sensitive Ludwig snare (great). Voodoo had the 8x14 Pearle wood snare. BTB had the Arnie Lang Gladstone 4x14 snare. Now, it is an 5x14 DW wood snare. Ludwig Atlas snare stand (vintage), Old Rogers "Buck Rogers" snare stand to hold the 8x12 tom, and 1980's Gretsch cymbal stands. The hi-hat is a Rogers thin stemmed one from the 60's, although Rogers did put out a retro hi-hat stand which Charlie has used, particularly on the B stage. Charlie originally bought the Gretsch kid from a kid in New York. I wonder if that kid knew? The B stage kit was put together by the Kansas City drum shop. Blairndrums had a hand in supplying shells, and Jack Lawton in Pennsylvaina had something to do with final set up of the B stage kit. Now, of course, only the one original kit is needed. Charlie's cymbals are old Zild hit hats, a 18" UFIP flat top ride, an old Zild 17" crash and a 18" medium China crash, mostly a UFIP Classic until recently.

With all these great shots of Charlie, you hardly see the Plexiglass in any of them.

CAN'T SOMEONE POST ONE WITH AN EXCELLENT SHOT OF THE PLEXIGLASS INCLUDED??

God - I mean Plexiglass, triplelicks - that is an even better shot with the PLEXIGLASS FRONT AND CENTER.

I am going to print this out in as large a size as I can get, frame it, and put it in the most prominent, noticeable, and honored place in my home!!!

THE PLEXIGLASS, YEAH ! ! !

Afer seeing the plexi glass there, Im thinking to myself: If only you could have combined the weather and sound quality of the oalkand show with the set list of chicago....then you'd have something.
