Not a really big deal, actually, it's actually the two guitar notes before the intro chord starts. So the intro is not exactly "butchered" Rocks Off-Live Licks-style, but if you're used to those two notes at the beginning through years of listening to vinyl and early CD pressings there is still the feeling that something is missing... As far as I remember, ABKCO stated that this would be corrected in further pressings, but, honestly, I did not check if they really did. And even if they did, I'd have to ask myself if it is worth to shell out some more bucks to buy the corrected edition just for these two notes.

As we are all more or less traumatized by those missing Stray Cat Blues intro guitar notes and as it's the age of filing massive lawsuits, why don't we join forces and sue ABKCO?

ABKCO is SO sloppy !! I'm missing the first 2 notes of JJF on my ROCK AND ROLL CIRCUS DVD when I output the DTS surround sound choice (or it could be Dolby 5.1 - I always go with DTS if offered). They really are crap - I remember on the LET IT BLEED CD cover they had all the songs in the wrong order, all mixed up.....

Are we talking about the remasters with the black strip / red characters?

If this is it, the 2 missing notes is nothing compared to how bad the over all sound is. It is so bad that the whole release should be recalled from the market. The old verion shines in comparison (and already was a big loss in quality vs. the vynil version)

Don't have the sacd version. I made my own version ripping off the original LP.

No, we're talking about the SACD releases, which is really good.
Those remasters with red letters are freaking awful.

The mistake in Stray Cat is only on the first pressing, ABKCO fixed the mistake with the second pressing.
