The city is a "border town." These mexican border cities are not exactly vaaction destinations and are frankly no place you probably would want to go to unless you happen to live there already.
Sorry El Paso folks but it's esentially a dusty dumpy kinda city. Not much action there so this show should be quite a big deal for the local community.
So y'all in Austin this Sunday! ..now THATS a cool city......

Your post reminds me of a joke I recently heard from someone who used to live in Austin, TX. Joke: What's the only thing wrong with Austin? Answer: It's surrounded by Texas.
... i was drivin' home early one sunday mornin' through el paso, listin' ta gospel music on the colored radio station,,, and the preacher said, "you know, you always have the lord by your side'' .................

I would say "I'd rather have She's So Cold," but finally both in one show!
> 04. El Paso (fragment)/
Too cool, in a "so uncool its cool" kind of way. FYI, this song was recently used with rewritten lyrics in the U.S. in a taco commercial. Classy!
Let It Bleed (with Dave > Matthews...WHY?...)
ROCLMGO! (Rolling on Ceiling, Laughing My Genitals Off)
> 15. Paint It Black, you devil!
I swear, it never gets old. Also, this is what Keith says to his hairdresser every month.
