Happy birthday mr Rock and roll

Today i was watching the 4 disc edition of the Chuck Berry movie Hail hail rock and roll, its a great movie.

I hope Berry got a great birthday because he has given so much joy to people. He´s a great songwriter, a great entertainer and got a sharp mind.

At least one of the most important, if not the most important guitarist ever.
Anyway, happy birthday!
I quote John Lennon; "If you tried to give rock and roll another name, you might call it Chuck Berry"

Try the "london chuck berry sessions" circa 1972, live and studio tracks.

Happy Birthday Chuck !
Saw him in London together with Jerry Lee Lewis in 2004. Was big fun. Chuck was joking with the audience and it looks like he had fun too. Jerry Lee Lewis is an old man compared with chuck. Great Night.

chuck is 80 today, I'm 27 today... we're decades apart but his music still moves me.

Was great in St. Louis, every station playing Chuck tunes on and off all day, even stations that normally don't play him.

He still plays monthly at a local club here, I'm going to need to check that out before it's too late. I haven't seen him since his 60th (was lucky enough to score tickets to both shows that the Hail! Hail! movies was filmed for).

I haven'y seen him since 1975 !
I don't suppose much has changed.
[and how come Chuck doesn't have to endure "set list whiners" ? LOL]
