No scantily clad babes, not crotch exhibitioning, but nevertheless... They don't play it like this anymore:

I'd say "Ashes To Ashes" by David Bowie, "Strawberry Fields Forever" by The Beatles, "Jumping Jack Flash" by The Stones or "Mull Of Kintyre" by Macca.

Last one IS a joke....

Mull Of Kintyre... man, I really hate that song. It might sound weird but I really like the new Gnarls Barkley's Smiley Faces video, Mick and Keith are present as well.

"Rape, murder, it's just a shot away..."

Check out the video for Mötörhead's "Whorehouse Blues". There's a hilarious impression of Jagger in that one.

Pietro, that was amazing, thankyou.

I play guitar and watching that is truly inspiring. Can you recommend any releases/ cd's of this stuff?

I never knew he could only use two fingers. Even more incredible.

Ashes To Ashes is a good choice for the best music video ever. Ofcourse JJFlash and IORR for example are great to watch, but that's because of Stones performance, and the song....Ashes To Ashes would have been great even if you had no feelings for Bowie's work.

Yeah well I always looked upon those videos as "performance videos" (JJF, IORR). Also, Rough Justice is KILLER like that...

That's the best hip video ever made, perhaps.

Hurt by Johnny Cash.

Shows pretty much every other music video up for the glorified soda commercials and sexually-frustrated teenager wank-fests that they really are

10cc Crying. Because it was the begining of Creme/Godley's video production company that went on to make fantastic videos.

The Who - Who Are You

Moon looks like a kid in a sweet shop bashing a drum kit for the first time, Entwistle looks bored, Daltrey is the rock star and Townshend is taking it seriously. Also the mix on the soundtrack is so much better than the LP version.
