Was one from a place called Blues Garage I think in Poland or Germany. Only 6 tracks, but they're long. He plays with a former Status Quo drummer and Noel Redding from the Jimi Hendrix Experience. It's from 2001. A bit boring when the solos get too long, but it's quite good.

I would recommend Mayall and Taylor from 1982 and 1984 tours and taylors boots with his band in the late 1980's and 1990's. I have many of these and when I get time will figure out how to post over at Hot Stuff. I have over 50 taylor
boots and taylor's boot from lonestar cafe in NY when Keith joined on stage and
played Key to The Highway and CYHMK. Also from the 100 club in London from 2003.

The only one who could play solos THAT long was Jimi Hendrix. When it goes on for so long, like Taylor does, it just gets boring because you get the time to realize that there's no point in it rather than show off.

actually in the book rip this joint the stones engineer gyns says he gets bored with jimi
hendrix and clapton real fast and prefers the VIBRATO of Mick Taylor and can listen to him all day long.

I get the same with The Allman bros Fillmore LP..... rattles on for ever??

Interesting to hear that. I really like Taylors lyrical way of playing. Amazing! But especially when listening to tracks from the 73' Tour it sometimes starts to bore me. It's like shugarcoating every track over and over. That's why I prefer the 72' gigs, when he added a little more to the songs.

I always thought taylor's guitar was more DISTORTED for the 1973 tour all his hammers and pullofs up and down the fretboard truly brilliant.

listen to taylor's brilliant playing from 1982 and 1984 Mayall Tours his guitar tone you can die for lean and mean and his guitar is up front on many of those boots.taylor is still playing with a PICK these days he does not use one for the most part and today he has a fatter TONE.

If you have the Blues Garage show from Germany, that would be a find. Nico's site indicates those shows do not circulate.

2001 30th November: Isernhagen (near Hannover), Germany, Blues Garage

My personal favorite Taylor bootleg is Frankfurt 1990, perfect quality and just a great show. Also Nashville, TN 2000 is awesome. Feels like you are right there at the show because the sound is flawless.

One of my faves is from San Francisco -2001 - Great American Music Hall

OpenG & I go round & round over this show. He isn't too fond of it due to the "Tone" Taylor was getting from his equipment that night. And Taylor was
having Amp problems at the time. I saw him the night before in Los Angeles
and he was using a last minute replacement at that time. Still his playing that
night was superb!! Great versions of his original numbers: Secret Affair &
Twisted Sister - and his backup band was hitting on all cyclinders that night!!

Yes, the Hungary one circulates fairly well and has excellent sound.

Here is some information regarding the Hungary one:

2001 7th July: Paks, Hungaria, Eszi Sporthall, ‘9. Gastroblues Festival’
(Catfish Blues/Red House/Little Red Rooster/You Shook Me/I Wonder Why)

It is very unlikely that the same setlist would have been used for the Blues Garage show. With his own band in Germany, Taylor would have played Secret Affair, Late at Night, or Twisted Sister from his latest album. So you should be able to determine the show from the setlist.

This year - 2006 - they had Keith Emerson, Ten Years After,
Nazareth, Nina van Horne, Chris Farlowe
