LONDON - Keith Richards won’t be in trouble for allegedly smoking in Scotland.
The Rolling Stones guitarist had supposedly been seen by journalists lighting up a cigarette while performing in Glasgow. The city forbids smoking in enclosed public places.
But the city council said today that the stage at Hampden Park where the band performed is exempt from the regulations.
The council also said that it wasn’t clear if the journalists who’d reported the smoking had actually been at the concert.
