Yo Kent, how about blokes who make songs like "State of Shock" with child molesting plastic surgery addicts or songs for movies called "Ruthless People" or "Alfie"?.....

Knew you would be fair and balanced in your evaluation.... even though I do like when Mick sings to Tina at Live Aid "You got me Supersonic..." ("State of Shock" worked a bit better with Tina IMHO)

Yeah, but a good version of "State Of Shock" is about the same as a good version of Adolf @#$%&...

The best collectors type Cyndi stuff I've ever heard is when she did TRUE COLORS and another song - TIME AFTER TIME ? - on Howard Stern. Beautiful, totally exotic arangements on those...anybody ever hear them? (this is AT LEAST 5 years ago)

She did one of those specials on cable a couple months ago; that series where they take some older type artist and put them with friends who sit in etc. They did Costello, Heart, Bonnie Raitt, Cyndi. On Lauper's show one of the guests was Scott Weiland and he really tore the place up. Did "Barbarerlla" from his solo album which rocked. On the other hand she also had people like the singer from Train and that "rapper" from Jamaica who just goes "uh-dabba-yabba-dabba dumbo.." underneath EVERYTHING, no matter what song. LOL
