I may criticize for lacking the passion and danger from the 60s and 70s but, Who the hell is Miller and who is he to moan about Micks dancing? Mick is great on stage, there is only one Mick and he could very well move around more like a classic drag queen on cocaine. I mean, he's a straight male unisex icon for gods sake. No, Mick should dance around on stage, it is his stage. And Keith should get rid of the bandana.
So Miller spends more time stearing at Jagger's bum than listening to the music, which he admits is great... So, if the music's great - what's his problem? Does he have a problem figuring out his own sexuality? Is he frightened when he sees a man of 63 who can still pull all the ladies (and men) he fancies? That doesn't happen to Miller, I guess? So he probably feels a bit envious... And the Stones are making big bucks... Miller once did . When he made cola-jingles. That's probably a reason for wanting to bash the Stones too. But really - it's time for the other elderly rockers to shut their breadholes. It's so obvious that all that comes out is pure evil and envy.
Ha ha - off to London in a few hours. I'm HAPPY! Twickers - here we go. Hope Micks vocal cords are back in business and that everyone's health is just fab. That also infludes the fans. Don't miss these shows.
OK, we're tough on him. But he was SO asking for it. Make a wish: Abracadabra! The genie in the bottle is out, and he's not smiling at Steve Miller. Rather giving him the well deserved finger.
The first Steve Miller Band album "Children of the Future" is really good if you are into psychedelic stuff. After that "Sailor" and "Brave New World" are decent as well - never liked anything he did after this period though.

You hit the nail here! Envious idiots with sad lives and nothing going on for them between the sheets. (That includes another person, at least...)
Is it just me, or does everyone you know have Steve Miller's Greatest Hits 1974-1978 LP somewhere in their collection, whether they admit to it or not?
I don't own one Steve Miller album.Growing up in Chicago then Atlanta the classic rock stations played him to death..He is like the Eagles and Bob Seger, because even if you hate them you know all the songs..cruel punishment..

I Love the Floyd but the radio don't do them justice.Money..Another Brick..Wish You Were Here and Comfortably Numb are beat into the ground. BTO is there favorite band in Atlanta.they play 2 or 3 of there songs around the clock followed closely by Don Henley solo.. I have to thank Atlanta's radio station for making me go get the stuff I want to hear.
Here in PA the classic rock station plays the first Boston album, Steve Miller, and Kansas more than anything it seems. Someone there must be stuck in 1976.
