Yes its a Fiasco, and they should do something about Spain gigs and other concerts, just now on a local radio station in El Ejido, the show is on, go to [www.radioejido.com]
I think the Stones should do the right thing and go on with the show, with Keith singing the opening ten songs, then have a "Ronnie interlude", with Keith then closing out the final eight.
Cancelling the show or postponing the show to a couple of days later is also a matter of logistics - because the stage needs to be transported to UK, and it takes time to take the equipment from Spain to UK......

true, although the advantage they have of course is that the stage used for Twickenham gets used for two shows instead of the usual one. As far as I know, they have 3 stages to 'leapfrog', which would therefore mean that the Porto stage gets used again in London, the Valladolid stage wouldnt be used again until Glasgow (11 days from today) and the El Ejido stage would be used for Sheffield, etc.
well, well - I'm confused because from what I've heard - one stage is going to UK now. And one was today in Valladolid. But also I've hear the stage was builded in El Ejido so this would make 3 I think...
thats what I was thinking. I was presuming from your previous post you were implying that the Valladolid stage was the one that was en route to the UK, which seemed a bit premature!
I've seen pics of stages in the process of construction on this tour for shows that were 6-7 days away, so that would seem to make it a bit difficult to do if they only had two and tend to play 3 shows a week

As far as I can tell porto stage is heading for London.
To send the Valladolid stage Today the 15th and for it to be erected in time for soundchecks would be a miracle never mind Ready for a Concert on the 20th.
I say 3 stages .
Used to think it was 2 but I could never quite figure how they rotated them so quickly.
