1975 TV Coverage

Other than the famous "Brown Sugar" on the back on a flatbed truck, there's a TV blurb that I've never forgotten.

Geraldo Rivera did a segment on ABC news (?) about the upcoming tour, and they showed a brief segment of a rehearsal. They were playing "Honky Tonk", and it was the first time I saw them with Ronnie.

I was just 18, but already a fan of Ronnie's work with the Faces, and when I saw and heard "HTW", my first reaction was that he was the perfect and natural choice. It seemed obvious to me then, and 31 years later, I've never recanted on that first impression. Raw, rough and beautiful.
