Little by Little...is my fav of that rocking first album....on Tell Me:Keith plays a jangly 12-string guitar and sings harmonies into the same mic,as Jagger.....""Its a very pop song,as opposed to all the blues and motown covers, wich everyone did at the time'''We were writing ballads, dont ask me why'''Jagger said.''We didnt want to do the blues forever,we just wanted to turn people on to other people who were very good...we turned into the blues...thats stupid aint it...You could listen to Slim Harpo.IORR:song by song.

It's a wonderful song, though a bit poppy for the Stones.

Beautiful Delilah and High Heel Sneakers are also great.
I almost started a thread about it....I think Keith and Mick listened to vinyl bootlegs in early 78.
For instance, Mick sings.."all the people singing, sha la la la le" in All Down The Line on this tour. That is the lyrics of the acoustic All Down The Line from 69.
And all these songs at the rehearsals, incl. CS Blues.
I think they dug up all boots, when Keith was in trouble, and afterwards.

TeleK, just relax, it's still there! Just an example on those kind of churches!
I lived a few 100 meters from that church in 2002.

Sorry about the mistake, I'm not into churches. There was an old church in Bergen, I remember.
But, that picture is from Sogn (Hopperstad), which is by the coast in "Sogn og Fjordane). A bit north of Bergen.

Tell Me is a great song.

The last band I was in did it. When I auditioned for the band, the guitar player was amazed I knew it. That's what got me into the band. Later the guitar player and I discovered that even though we grew up in different states, we both saw the Stones live for the first time during the Aftermath tour.

Y'all remember that rubber legged boy

Nice to hear that TeleK! I lived in Tromso 1,5 years. Now I'm a 4 hours-drive from Tromso...back in my hometown. The backpack-way is the best way to do it, for sure.

THat's hillarious!

Very cool! Tell Me IS a great song, although some of the vocals seem out of tune. Kind of sounds like Page ripped the riff for "Thank You," doesn't it?
