BV: Are you absolutely sure they will do that? MAN that'll be great. It's jsut that we heard different. That the Euro dates were completely cancelled. Then Europe would would get a pretty large tour. 21 shows this summer, and many next summer.

It should be Sweden as they missed the one this year. On the other hand it would be fitting to simply play Denmark, Finland and Norway, and skip Sweden, as they got 3 shows on the Licks Tour.

I hope you are right BV, missed out on paris inwhich it would have been my first concert overseas and now looking at a usa show which entails once again seating on the pitch but if there is rumours about european shows in 2007 then i will save my money for such shows.

Trouble is they the stones wont probably announce it till around november!!

It almost seems you are enjoying the fact, you reaction sounds like a victory cry-out. Is there anything you want to prove here?

It's like you are dancing on a grave that hasn't been dug yet. (But maybe it has, in your perception.)

These comments are not very informative. Very diplomatic, really. Namely, like Gazza said above, they don't say 'no' to disappoint some more many people that are angry at the moment. Give those poor people some hope to keep the criticism at least in minimum.

But then again, they don't promise to come back: They are half saying: You Europeans, don't wait till next summer, this might be the last time you see The Rolling Stones in your continent. Buy a flight and a ticket for the shows of this summer. There is still plenty of room...

Honestly, I don't see European Tour 2007 in horizon. And the reason is simply $$$$$, or the lack of it.

These are BV:s exact words: "Because they will do the rest of Europe summer 2007"
I donĀ“t think he would make such a claim without any truth to it?
Maybe BV could elaborate a little more on this subject, to put rumours to rest?

Seems to me we have the same discussions here as we had following Keith's little mishap in Fiji.

Why weren't they telling us anything ? why were we kept in the dark ? don't they respect the fans ?

The fact was that nobody could be sure. It was hoped that keith would make a speedy recovery and hadn't been too seriously injured. This proved to be the case and a revised itinery was released when the necessary clearances were obtained. It would have been no use publishing a bunch of ifs, buts and maybes before this point...which would only have served to confuse folks even further.

It's the same with the possibility of European dates next year.
There may be issues of band members' agreement, logistical planning, financial considerations. Firm decisions are obviously still to be made, so it's not possible so say anything. Saying nothing [or next to nothing] may well give the appearence of being inconsiderate and may [does !] annoy folks...but there's not much they CAN say at the moment.

Mick and a band of robot replacements? Can they program a robot to repeatedly hack solos differently every night?
