THat depends how well they've rehearsed the "surprises". I guess they don't want to screw up a taped performance, so probably no first timers.

So I'm going to be reproduced a million times... Nice! I'll put my IORR-name on my t-shirt, so you'll know who I am... ;-)

That is, of course, a sadly egocentric joke...

Hope it is true, it would be great. So good things come from the ArenA too!

Which makes Paris a great opportunity to try Out Of Control, Sway, All Down The Line and some others, so they will be played very very well in Amsterdam...

Wow, do I like this or not...?

LOL! I have some ideas for a small poster...as I am in FOS for the first time in my life and it can actually have a chance to be seen. ;-) This will be fun!

When did the Stones first play the Amsterdam ArenA? Did they play there in '95?

Re: Amsterdam to be the official DVD of the tour

No..the 1995 A'dam shows were in the Paradiso and the 5 stadium/outdoor shows were in Rotterdam, Landgraaf and Nijmegen. I dont think the stadium was opened at that point. I think it was later that summer or more likely summer 1996.

The 5-night run in 1998 was their first appearance there.

The Amsterdam ArenA has no vibe at all! It would be a boring show to watch if they tape that one. Why not make it something special, release a show from Bunous Aires or Mexico City!

Why don't they play Ray-Halle again?

ArenA is 50% owned by Mojo.

Is it sure..they are gonna film?

Don't know.. if they say it.. in combination with the fact that they planned on filming there in 2003 too, it is a good location, so it's very well possible.

It would be great if the Stones make a dvd in Holland.
Even more because the Paradiso gigs aren't released at all and the Licks show for dvd recording was cancelled. So I really hope they will do it this time

Actually it was filmed in 2003. The first show that is. It was a rehearsal for the live broadcast the next show. Which was cancelled due to ..... I don't go into that one. It's just what you want to believe...

Pieces of this show is used on the 4Flicks DVD for the Twick show. Mostly crowd shots. Perhaps a song or two (also parts).

I'll wear something not too apparent. You don't want to see me anyway.

Cheers

Don't worry. All the bad parts will be cut out by capable editors or redone in the studio.

the stones wont be able to use flames and fireworks
in the amsterdam arena
that wasnt allowed in munich and i think then it
cant be allowed in amsterdam too cause of the roof

so i dont think they will shoot there
i think a us fall concert will be shot as dvd

The coolest DVD would be if they filmed at the Beacon (if there is a show there of course). The NY shows are always special so a DVD would fit the bill perfectly. Plus, I'd love to see a theatre show on DVD!

I have seen flames before at a Stones concert..and that was IN the Arena stadium.

The roof can be opened at this stadium....

@ misterdicker.

The show was sold out in 30 mins. but that only goes for standing and good seating tickets. No one wants to sit in the back rings of the stands. Now they've changed the date and people return their tickets. They are trying to resell them now. But they won't because the prices are too high

Cheers

Agree 100%. They should release Buenos Aires 1. Fortunately, that's avaible anyway...

ArenA was a great show too, you know...

Arena wasn't a "great show" but an average show, at best.
The one in PARIS was what I call a "great show". Probably the best in Europe so far.

This concert CAN'T become the official DVD. That would be a complete nonsense.

I obviously haven't seen Paris, but from what I've seen in Amsterdam, it was the best concert I've ever seen in my life!
