Hi All,

Having a nightmare trying to swap shifts at work so I can get away early enough to drive 200 miles to Glasgow.

I know the gates open at 7pm,but does anybody have an accurate idea of when the opening chords are struck,please?I reckon (hope) 8.30pm.

7 PM is when the opening act begins. So the Stones should be on stage some time between 8.30 PM and 9 PM.

I'd be surprised if its later than 8.30. As Hampden is in a residential area, theres probably some kind of curfew.

i'd throw a sickie that day dude, if i were you-
nothing worse than getting stressed, pre-gig, worrying about traffic jams/roadworks and mssing out on all the pre-show fun.

Yep get a sick note from the doc. Fly up to Glasgow on the night before, relax, have a few beers, enjoy the gig & fly home. Problem solved.

Having attended a few shows at Hampden I`d suggest arrive early in order to park.

If you leave it til after 7 you`ll have problems getting parked close to the stadium.
