Keith should retire

Since now he ha become very sloppy, he should now hang up his guitar and say goodbye, after his poor performance in Milan and Vienna.

If there's anything more boring than musicians past their sell-by date it's "fans" who still feel the need to hang out on message boards for bands they've lost interest in. I mean, why bother?

Sunny! Now, remember, 1) You weren't there!
2) You are just a school-kid.
3) If you keep on talking about things you don't have the slightest idea about, we're no longer friends - and I shall never help you with your home work again!
4) We should not say "sloppy" about anyone, as long as our English is rather sloppy, should we?!
Now, concentrate on your home work, girlfriend- and mummy-problems. Then see a few Rolling Stones shows - and then you're welcome to critizise. Not untill then.
Take care, you little rascal!

What I've heard from Euro '06 so far has been very good. Keith included. He's GREAT!

I've seen 2 shows! The kid's posting here, "Keith should retire", is probably a joke. He likes a bit of attention. *Search for his nick on this site and you'll know what I mean. He's a minor, too! A baby, OK.
BTW: Keith is brilliant and to me it seems as if a few weeks off the excessive Vodka-drinking has done him good. He's all smiles and hugs... He even hugs Jagger and gives him loving looks.

For a dumb statement, that's a good one. In Milan, the sound was poor and obviously impairing Keith performance. He was smiling, running and happy to be back...on stage. And thus not enough concentrated at his guitar playing. But all of this will drop as the tour goes on. Master of Riffs is back.

sunnybandyo99, the only person round here that needs to retire is you - from this board. Please find a forum more appropriate to your age and your interests. Your posts are becoming extremely tiresome, and it surely won't have escaped your attention that the last one in fact was deleted.

You're quite right! But he's a kid from India and to judge from his postings, I think he's just seeking attention from adults. Perhaps a lonely kid. Let's not be too hard on him (I once was, and my concience still bothers me), but meet him with a sense of humour. Kids do a lot of blah-blah-blah, and at the same time - practising their language skills. So it's not all bad.

And no pudding for the next week! And school detention will be used (if only we could find your teachers number...)

Sunny...your punishment is lines.

get a piece of paper, and write (in time honoured CAPITALS),one thousand times:-

"I must not call for The Riffmeister's retirement, until i judge, for myself, in person, his performance on this tour".

The sooner you start Sunny, the sooner you finish.

the supreme punishment would be to write the lines in black letter.

black letter ??? what else - white lines?

If you give up ..Keith...doesnt...he will never stop till he drop ..take that as a excample.pffffff.

Re: Keith should retire

Keith should not stop. He is the soul of the Rolling Stones and his performance is very good, recently. Surely he can have bad evenings but anyone of us can. He can master his guitar as he always did. Go and see, and listen!

I piss on any fairweather "fan" who thinks Keef should retire!

Re: Keith should retire

Yeah. We must not forget, that the performance can vary night by night, however, the standard pplayed by Keith and Ron is very high and moreover unique. They are the key part of Stones sound and I think that most of us are still able to hear it from the recent live recordings. Keith is the riffmaster.

& that would be the end of the Stones. Do you want to kill R&R????????
You must be under 20. Hey some live shows aren't that great cause they play so much. I'd like to see other 63 year olds try to do it better. Maybe he needs more breaks to recharge. As far as recording goes listen to a Bigger Bang all the way thru with head phones & if you still feel the same way.............................................
go crawl back in to the hole that you came out of!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It's only R&R!
