Before the Munich 2003 show, I was standing at the observation deck of the tower as the gates to the stadium opened. Looked like ants pouring into the field!

last time we were perfectly guided for our fos tix.we walked down the "sued-kurve"
then over a little bridge,because this stadium has a 3m ditch, on the green.there you will be "guided" to your place.maybe i see tomorrow some signs.

The Munich stadium has always been a joy to look at. It looks so nice, and I bet that concerts as well as football matches are great there.

Kent, they don't use it for football matches any more as they have built a brand new one for the worldcup - entirely for football matches. But I agree, the "old" Olympic stadium has a unique atmosphere and it brings back the best memories of lots of great Stones shows there....Damn I hate to sit here and not be there right now.

was the WC final in 74 played in this stadium ?

Wish I was there..I think they played it in 76 and 82 also.

To rooster: Who ? The Stones or the WC? Stones played there in 82 (2 shows), 90 (two shows), 95 (one show), 98 (one show) and 2003 (one plus two more shows in arena and club)

It's a wonderful place indeed !
there seems to be some kind of lake close to the stadium.

Ronnies side seems to be filling up a lot faster than Keiths at this point.
