and finally we know that no racist insult was made by monster materazzi but "only" the familiar derogatory comment on sisters and mothers
It seems that the fact went:
Zidane (ironic comment on a hold by Materazzi): "If you want my shirt I can give it to you after the match!"
Materazzi: "You can give it to your ..."
Maybe materazzi did an ad-lib add on to that and then zizou's head came into the picture
More: the famous Guardian article that first give way to the false news of Materazzi racist comment was up on the website for a short time and then quickly removed
Any comment by zizou's or french fans?
My 2cents are: to insult mothers sisters aunts and grandma's is a bad habit everyone who has ever played football has, still it can hardly be compared to a racist insult and, that's important, surely does not justify in any way such a violent reaction
imho of course

Yeah, yeah, Zindane is UNFORGIVABLE, what he did is HORRRRRRRRRRRRRRIBLE and no one ever did such a NAZI-LIKE move on a soccer pitch before Zidane. Zidane actually INVENTED bad manners and if you don't think that way, you're just frustrated that France missed this world cup.

On the other hand it's TOTALLY OKAY to insult people and Materazzi should get a medal he's a great guy by the way.

Another Materazzi-video here:

I love Italian football, but this guy is a shame for it.

The guy is like Bill Laimbeer of the Detroit Piston.

do you find anything like that in my previous post?
may I have the honour of your comment about
1) The fact that the Guardian scoop was actually a false news
2) Do you consider of the same gravity a racist insult and a "f**k off" or things like that?
3) Would you hit with your head an adversary if, playing football, you get the kind of insult materazzi gave to zidane?

did I said something like that? Can you read? I have said that Materazzi is an idiot to insult but I can't say all cows are gray.

Did materazzi made faults like these during the world cup? Answer yes and give evidences if you can

you are hysterically climbing on glass walls, get a grip

Re: Mick , Stones and... Materazzi

Yeah, I'm funny all right. What I am trying to say is it's totally OK to admit that Materazzi behaved like a pig in that game. Italy won the cup, it's cool, there's nothing that can take that away from the rest of the team, but come on... Defending Materazzi's manners is not a good thing for the national team's image.

And I am not trying to excuse Zidane by saying that he was insulted. He said himself that what he did was wrong. And he will be punished for that. But he shouldn't be the only one I think. Materazzi needs to be taught a lesson.

no no I'm not, thanks for your concern. I'm actually pretty cool about all that as I'm a rather casual soccer fan. I'm just a little bit surprised and disappointed that so much garbage was pourred on Zidane, and that Materazzi got away with it so far... so far...

Oh and I'm not saying that he behaved like that on this cup, I'm just saying that he behaved on that game FAR WORSE than Zidane did, and he got away with it apparently. That's all I'm saying. Good for him, I can't care less. All I'm hoping is in four years, France will get a better result.

Best to you.

I repeated in each post that it is a f***ing unfair thing to insult. But there are different kind of insult. None - at least in football - is worth the reaction of ZZ but, imho, a racist insult is far more unforgivable than that materazzi did. So, I am not defending materazzi insulting, I am much surprised by the fact that in 48 hours and thanks to some false information he has been turned into a monster while zizou has become the victim. Read my early posts on the fact (here and on rocks off) and you will see that i was not at all screaming that zidane was a monster, quite the opposite, I have been sad for him from the beginning and not happy at all for my player

what?!?! so what did materazzi do during the final that surpassed what zidane did?
do you mean to insult is worse than to hit a chest with the head?
or do you mean to score is worse than to hit with the head?
8O! 8O! 8O!

Provocative materazzi must be punished too , that's it !

that's what you don't want to understand

if you mean - as it has been said before on this thread - that for materazzi's insult Italy should give back the cup... ... ... ...

if you mean that Zidane should be give 4 matches out and Materazzi 1, i agree

No no. I meant that Materazzi's behaviour on the game against Milan surpassed Zizou's behaviour on the final. Yet he wasn't sent off apparently... That's all I'm saying.

"and finally we know that no racist insult was made by monster materazzi but "only" the familiar derogatory comment on sisters and mothers"

it's quite surprising to read that from an Italian because in Italy the mama is
very important, it's sacred isn't it ?

But probably only in Italy ! it means that it does not matter when it's abroad.

It's totally disrespecful !

Stonefan, already asked yo but now I firmly convinced that you must be 16 year old by the utter stupidity of the things you are wiritng, not that 16 year olds can't be smart, but you make Matreazzi look like Einstein.

Unless you grew up under a crystal dome, first things a kid learns in the streets is to pay no attention to insults aimed at your mama and your sis, beacuse this is what you're going to hear the most when peole try to hurt you.

ZZ was born in the slums of Marseille and I can't believe he took Materazzi's insults as a personal thing.
I mean, he's grown up with criminals, drug dealers, thieves that for sure must have told him worse things than what Materazzi must have told him and ZZ looses his nerve? Come on.

My mama is sacred, of course, but if I were on my job and someone told me "son of a bitch" I wouldn't move a single muscle. Don't wanna get fired just because some idiot has told me my mama makes a living with her pussy, got it?
This makes ZZ look even dumber than he is, and I mean, I do really respect ZZ as being a 1st class player but he was very stupid and he paid for that.

Now, if you want to make me believe you don't understand what I just wrote I can only think the following options about you:

A) you have been fooling us for days with your rants just to see how long this thread would end up being, maybe you are after a world record or something

cool smiley you did really grow up under a crystal dome and don't know s**t about the real world and if this is so the Stones are not the band for you, move to ABBA or Michael Jackson, they fit your personality better

C) when the kids in yor neighborhood were playing football you were taking dancing lessons

D) you've worked as "cabin boy" for the last 10 years and don't know the difference between right or wrong as the Captain really likes you to sit on his lap in the long and lonely nights at sea and tells you it is ok that he caresses you

E) you've never watched a football game in your life

F) you are stupid

That's a sissy's reply.

How can you say I am vulgar and with no sense of human values when you've been insulting Italians for days whilst I have never made a derogatory remark about France or the French?
I have never insulted anyone while you've been pretty constant in doing so, making fun of our traditions, of our values, I haven't but you did indeed my dear.

I'll stop it the day you apologize to me and all the Italian fellow members of this board and/or stop posting about this matter.

I did already tell you, we will never agree on the subject because you have no idea of what we're talking about.
Losing the cup hurts way more than Captain Hook, cabin boy.

i would like to end this thread quoting the last twist of words made by our champ Stonesfan who cutting and pasting as usual in order to avoid fair discussion ends up with the most wary stereotypes about italians and how I was supposedly not conforming to that. Looks like Dunhill is dun right dude. Peace, vive la france, vive zizou! notwithstanding stonesfan and the likes I love france, paris, cheese, truffeaut, godard, resnais, gainsbourg and everything.
