Good for the band and FANS! Looks like a fantastic start to the Euro tour. Nice photos too. I think the setlist is impressive and shows they want to feature the new album along with some cherries from the past. The guys looks excited to be back on stage again. I would love to be in Muenchen for the next stop. Someone have a Mass for me please. I am there in spirit.

BersaGurra why bother posting? If you think this all crap why not just go away. It honestly looks like a fine start to the tour. What do you see otherwise?

Doesn't this just make everyone feel great?

It's wonderful to see them back in action - those pictures are the proof!

Ive never seen better pictures of them at this point in their career!

Great pictures and set list. Sounds like it was a fun show.

Apparently the wig stayed on too!

The set list is the same as it was except they added Before They Make Me Run (once again),Streets Of Love,Under My Thumb, and sung As Tears Go By in Italian. This overall is a little better but, they're not going to sing Con Le Mie Lacrime again,Before They Make Me Run is an excellent song that has already been played repeatedly all over the place, and I hope that they keep Streets Of Love to a handful of performances. So,that leaves us with Under My Thumb.

Thats quite a spin on it

I would describe the fact that 20% of the set was being played for the first time on the entire tour a step in the right direction, whatever way you want to look at it (and it would have been 25% had they not dropped Monkey Man at the last minute for Lets spend the night together)

dont ya think they should have monkey man down by now, why drop it, thats my only minor complaint, otherwise its a great start, btw i hope monkey man on this
tour is the version without lisa, i like that one more than the one with lisas vocal gymnastics

I don't know.Maybe the optimism will turn out to be justified this time but,if you consider the right direction to be playing more songs that haven't been (over -) played on recent tours instead of Before They Make Me Run,Monkey Man,and Slipping Away again,it seems to be a small step.

oh I agree, but in all fairness its a lot better than I would have hoped for a week ago....I really expected a phoned in setlist with next to no change from where they left off 3 months ago

I'd have taken that setlist tonight over most of the ones I've seen to date on this tour

Thanks for all the info & pics, Great stuff, mick looks like he's on fire!!!

I might be wrong, but I remember there not have been much variance in the past at the time when European leg starts. I mean, the set list was quite fixed by then - and there used to be complains that all the rare gems were already played during the American leg of Tour. So in this sense what we have now is expectional. Perhaps The Stones themselves thought they 'owe' Europe something extra now.

Thanks Gazza and TeleK for keeping us informed. (After seen these recent photos of Mick as someone else above I also came to think that something has been done during these months of silence; he looks absolutely great..)

Yeah Keith looks great, but it is Jagger who is blowing me away. Looks totally on fire. And my favorite pics are of the crowd. Those last two audience shots I copied. The Stones get 50,000 people laughing.

I don't think Keith fell out of a tree, I think Mick had some work done, that's why we never heard from him.

LOL
Maybe you are right Mr. bingo that he didn't fell from tree

That is exactly what I thougth while looking at him yesterday night.
He looked like a young boy, I really felt some kind of devilish presence around him that keeps Mick young forever.
Wow!

The set-list in Milan was near perfect, considering that there's about 6/7 songs that are always going to be in the set-lst, the overall setlist was very good and Midnight Ramble alone made my night.
Mick was awesome, during MR I thought I was allucinating as the man looked like he was in his mid-20s.
