These are the nastiest/coolest/most energized/rough pictures of them I have seen this tour.

Milan must've been qutie a show.

Now, let's get some reactions from the crowd!

Could all pictures have been taken from the same song? It looks like that...

Youre very welcome. All being well, we should be able to get live text updates for the entire European tour

The Stones dusting off 'As tears go by' after 40 years was the biggest jawdropper setlist-wise of the entire tour for me. For them to then go and sing the bloody thing in Italian in Milan trumps it completely. An amazing thrill for the audience, for sure - and almost certainly the only time it will ever be played.

The set list is really not bad. But why is this tour called "A Bigger Bang"? Where are It Won't Take Long, Laugh I nearly Died and not least the hardcore fan classic Under The Radar.

Knowing these songs the set appears to be bullshit; although nice bullshit ;-)

Usually the press is allowed for the first song/couple of songs. So probably yes.

edit: photographing press that is.

You'll generally find that they allow the photographers into the pit to take their photos for a couple of songs only - similarly they also tend to just let the TV cameras film a couple of songs (almost always the same ones)

Kaskatanas has just texted me to say that the Italian World Cup stars Del Piero and Materazzi were onstage at the very end with the Stones when the band were waving goodbye

Yes, thanks Gazza and Greg. My guess would be the first 3 or so. White coat for JJFlash and then IORR and ONNYA.
I couldn't spot any Let's Spend The Night Together - face-moves.
Great pictures, but Ronnie and Charlie should have been there.

Yeah, that's one reason I wondered about it.

BTW, that very last Keith photo above, is pretty uncommon!

Thought about it, apparently - but was too afraid of either displacing his hairpiece or having his staples come loose...

Incredible, but both Mick and Keith look several years younger than at the Garden in NY in January... A few extra pounds did Keith good! Amazing, all of it, but I hated the Italian soccer-player who insulted Zidane... (yes, I support the French team!)
