i'm serious - no curling is a Canadian thing. Hurling is sorta like lacrosse - only with mallets instead of sticks with nets. now, perhaps the hurling miller is referring to is another sport altogether....

What I'm thinking of may be a traditional Scottish game where the object is to toss a log as far as you can while flipping it end over end.
Anyone know what that's called? Bueller?

I know what you're talking about, but I don't know what it's called. I think they do them at the Highland games.
