Rockman,

I love Crazy Clown Time: it's just as bizarre as some of Tom Waits' stuff like Army Ants. A great album !

I am currently listening to Satchmo: Ambassador of Jazz 2 cd best of by Louis Armstrong. At some stage I'll buy the box set. It gives me such happy thoughts to wake up to that album.

This was the last tour he sang it with the original lyric, "Look at mother nature on the run in the nineteen-seventies". After this tour, he changed it to "in the twentieth century".

One wonders what his intentions were; singing Brown Sugar sitting next to Ike Turner? Maybe he was trying to impress Tina? I'm not sure Ike enjoyed it...
