They did my home town on this tour which could hardly be more surprising; Edmonton Alberta Canada! This was the show my 11 and 14 year old girls attended and we had front row. Before leaving for the show we got the girls a bouquet of flowers each just in case. While Mick was working the stage back and forth he noticed my girls with the flowers. A security guy came over and told us to be ready the next time Mick came by. I told them this was it so be ready. The security guy lifted them up to the edge of the stage and Mick took the flowers from each of them and then winked at them. When the kids were set back down everyone in the audience applauded and those near them were slapping them on their backs congratulating them. I don't think the older one ever felt so special. It got around her school the next day with even the teachers hearing of it. After the show the same security guy waved us up to the stage. The flowers were laid beside Charlie's drums and were still there but Mick had asked the guy to give the girls a set list that he had written remarks on. I have that carefully stowed away. What great guys they are.?

The fantastic recording of David Bowie, live at Earls Court 1978 'Welcome to the Blackout.A Beautifully recorded document of the 1978 shows, that really does put the other Live 'Stage' cd in it's place. Just wished they had recorded the Glasgow shows of this tour. But this is great !!
