I never heard it either, it popped up on youtube.

Of course, the Mick impromptu version is pretty cool too:

Roundhouse, London. It's on the bonus CD from the Sticky Fingers re-release.

Shannon & The Clams --- My Man ....

My man
My man

If I, I, I should stay
And see you come away
That would be fine
That would be fine

If I should dig
Dig you a grave
I’d dig it
Right next to me
Wrapped in the hyde
Wrapped in the hyde

My man
My man
My man

If you, you, you, you
Should die tonight
I want you
To know
You were my man
You were my man

[youtu.be] Got to say this is the hottest thing I seen in a while. Talk about a Super line up.
You got Bobby Womack - the Clash - Blur - Mos Def - and a string section. This is a rare time when this kind of lineup works. Mos Def is awesome.

The Rolling Stones - Brixton Academy 1995 1080p HD
[www.youtube.com]

Love the first six tunes. Super high powered and raucous. Spirited banter from Mick along with rimshots from Charlie. Super version of Tumbling Dice. My favorite. Listening to that now.
But they slow it down with an acoustic country set that loses them momentum.

SETLIST
Honky Tonk Women
Tumbling Dice
You Got Me Rocking
Live with Me
Black Limousine
Dead Flowers
Sweet Virginia
Far Away Eyes
Love in Vain (Robert Johnson cover)
Down in the Bottom (Willie Dixon cover)
Shine a Light
Like a Rolling Stone
Monkey Man
I Go Wild
Miss You
Connection
Slipping Away
Midnight Rambler
Rip This Joint
Start Me Up
Brown Sugar
Encore:
Jumpin' Jack Flash

Shannon & The Clams -- How Long? .............

Oh, are you lonely?
'Cause I feel lonely too
My one and only
Is adfrift in the blue

How long?
How long?
How long has your heart been gone?

Are you defeated?
'Cause I'm defeated too
What I once needed
Was pulled out by the blue

How long?
How long?
How long has your heart been gone?

It's not your fault for following
The pathways of your heart
It's not your fault for being brave
And seeking other stars
But I can't help the way
You make me feel that day

Oh, are you tired?
'Cause I feel tired too
I've been treading oceans
In dark waters, for you

Johnny Winter And Live on reissue vinyl. Man do I miss seeing Johnny live.

Some of my favorite concerts were seeing Johnny live - first time was '79 at the Santa Monica Civic front row center, and by then had listened to Captured Live and the And Live album so many times they were was embedded in my soul. Saw him many times after that all in small venues - theaters and clubs. Last time I saw him though around '95 was a bit sad - he was in the depths of some really bad times - he could barely walk let alone stand. Glad he was able to get somewhat healthy and make a comeback, but never saw him during those latter years. He died on my birthday when I was up in the country for a week long getaway with friends and family. We played Johnny music all night on youtube via the laptop, and drank a shit load of beer with friends reminiscing about all the good times and great music.

This one always hits home....Life is Hard from 1991 - w/Dr. John on piano.

"Everybody got their own cross to bear
Black or white, rich or poor
You know the blues is everywhere
Just keep reaching for the sky
Life is hard and then you die..."

Johnny Winter - Life Is Hard

A highlight of that movie among many highlights. thumbs up

Here's another version from The Secret Policeman's Other Ball concert 1981 featuring Clapton and Jeff Beck.
JEFF BECK & ELIC CLAPTON - Futher On Up The Road

Back when there was the Z cable channel, they used to show both of those films all the time - must have watched them dozens of times each.
I had a friend who worked for Z channel around 1980-ish and he connected our tv's up for free!
