A lot of people would say that is what Aerosmith largely was or is anyway.

Minor Victories. Wonderful new record. The band is sort of a shoegaze/post punk supergroup. Stuart Braithwaite from Mogwai on guitar & the singer from Slowdive involved. This one gets better with each listen.
