Great stuff, Golden Earring, and still going strong, will never forget when I saw them in Scheeßel First Rider Open Air Festival 1977, the one when after all the stage was set on fire.
Golden Earring were the last gig in the night, and, towards the end people called "Hey, the Angels have left, come on, we can freely enter the stage no." So we went on stage, standing bumptiously round the band in a semi-circle, and they went for their encore: Radar Love, what else. Then the band quickly left and we people also left the stage heading back into the crowd to party some more. Soon after the stage went up in flames. What a night! And what a pity the festival didn'nt run as scheduled over the whole weekeend and with all those announced top acts, remember for example Steppenwolf?

gregg allman's "low country blues" - first new album of his in 14 years. nice selection of mostly mid-tempo blooze standards. still got that killer whisky-soaked voice.
