Listening to the new Wolfmother release, Cosmic Egg. New band line up with another guitarist, new drummer, and new keyboardist. Great stuff!!! YAY! Some good new original retro/rock. It kicks!

The Monsters of Folk album. Really rather good, I waited for 4 weeks for it to arrive on vinyl and to my surprise it came with the cd included as well. Well worth a listen.

What am I listening to? Well, an amazon box showed up and Helter ordered Michael Jackson's "This Is It" which is like a greatest hits but it's remixed or something so it sounds AMAZING. All the songs of his I like - except I hate THRILLER (no problem, it's easy to skip) - but the rest of it is great. 2 CD's @ $9.99 on Amazon....

ah - you know i love that movie, and that is a great Neneh Cherry song. I used to listen to her second album all the time. At the beginning of that song (album version) she's talking to her little daughter and says something like - just a minute, mommy's gonna do this one tune - and then whips that one out. Very cool - she's got such an exotic face too - too bad she's dropped off the map.
Plus - I always love me some Sam Neill - even as Cardinal Wolsey in The Tudors.
Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

No - i don't know that film. I don't think i've seen many Polanski movies - but that one looks pretty good. I like all those actors. His wife is beautiful.
I've seen Tess and didn't really like it - other than looking at the exquisite Nastajssia Kinski (aka Nasty Kinky). The actor who plays Angel is so unattractive - it was distracting because you never believe that she would fall for him. The actor who plays Alec is much more attractive and your supposed to hate him - bad casting on the men.
Wasn't looking too good, but I was feeling real well.

BTW - the actor who says "...and we will send you to whatever God you wish" - was engaged to your honey, Helena Christenson. They have a son together named Mingus (after Charlie).
