Mother´s Finest - Iron Age

Vilhelm, this was a local band that played all over the Southeast USA. I grew up watching them in small bars in NC. Now they are heard in Viking land. Small world.

Well me and my friends listened to them since the late seventies, in fact they played Sweden again this summer. So they are not totally unheard of here in Europe. Sadly they never got the fame they deserved.

Cool. Thanks for the input It's always nice to hear from my Dutch friends, too, as well as Vikings. So Mother's Finest is still touring? And they were big in Europe? Way cool.

The reissue of The Cult's Love. Fantastic package. UMe needs to take lessons from Beggars Banquet Records. Demos, B-sides, single versions and a live album from that era on top of the album PLUS a fantastic book - all remastered (and mastered, of course, as the demos and live album were never released).

Best available quality, too.

Here's a bootleg clip of Time Of The Season as I couldn't find the real thing.

This Clapton/John TV performance, on CD.....what a funky version of Layla - if Clapton had put in a solo there, it would go from excellent to excellent plus - dig his singing near the end
