There's rats chewin' up the kitchen
Roaches up to my knees...

I saw them at the Santa Monica Civic during the two night URGH! - A Music War concert in 1980 which also featured X, The Cramps, and Chelsea on night #1,
followed by the Dead Boys, Pere Ubu, The Members, Magazine, and Wall of Voodoo on night two - still have my ticket stubs and t-shirt!
To show how varied and eclectic my taste in music was (and still is), a few months later I saw Pink Floyd The Wall twice at the L.A. Sports Arena.
Both concerts left me warped for life! winking smiley

Big Joe Williams --- My Grey Pony - Chicago 1935

I got me a pony, Lord she's already trained
Well I got me a pony, Lord she already trained
When I get in my bed mama, baby tighten up on the reins
Well I got somethin' to tell you mama when I get a chance
Hoo hoo mama I got somethin' to tell you, lord when I get a chance
Mmmm well I don't want to marry, baby just want to be your man ……….

I'm not sure if Hank Williams JR wrote this song but I like his folksy version better.

I can not get away from the White Album re-issue.
Was there some astrological permutation, some alignment of the planet that causes John and Paul to meet? And then to find George? Then to add George Martin?
How different would our world be if those two teenagers had not met?

I kind of wish there was some link we had preserved like with Renee's track talk, for outtakes (and also albums).
Been also listening to 77 outtakes, and my new alltime favorite Jagger lyric is "Tell him to bring his Wah Wah pedal".
You go around singing that to yourself all day.
