My H's Spotify account
PRINCE Vault release
'Sarah' followed by
'Extraordinary'

2 songs I never heard/knew Prince created/ recorded.
It sounds romantically staged, as my name is Sarah
my H got lucky or glimmer light purple.

I need to add my man is good, he is very very very good.
I GOT ROLLING STONES TICKETS!!

Right now loud pop music at a roller skating rink :-/

Prince's song 'Sarah' from 'Old Friends 4 Sale' release 1999 quote:
"Surprisingly enough, “Sarah” channels Chuck Berry, it puts him through a Prince blender before spitting him out in the chorus (“Is that yoooou?). "

no utube link 4 Prince music

Leonard Cohen - The Future
[www.youtube.com]

Such a great song! I first heard it in a movie, i think it was Natural Born Killers if I recall correctly.

yep; what a film!! Oliver Stones penultimate in many ways. ...
I actually don't recall the movie that well, I remember Rodney D was in it as Juliette's dad ... but I do remember loving this song - i think it was in the ending credits. I was thinking 'is that tom waits or lou reed or who ...?' and found out it was LC. The YouTube version is the shortened version, I have a 6 minute version which I listened to after seeing your post! Great stuff indeed!

Learned an interesting trivial factoid the other day that I never knew before (or maybe I did, but had forgotten about it):

Stephen Still plays guitar on the studio version of Bill Withers' Aint No Sunshine!

Bill Withers - Ain't No Sunshine

thumbs up

This one always puts a pep in my step and makes everything right in the world - at least momentarily.
Not sure if it's same version as whats on the album above (sounds a bit similar, but rawer), but here's an actual video of the performance:
