Many of us have "GUILTY PLEASURES" or however one wants to say it....
So much music back then when the Stones ruled was often Stonish, not saying this is, it is in the kind of being a rocking groove...

I have a friend who says the '70s were it, women running down the street naked, now I don't know about that.
Good stuff, had some '70s jargon there, just horsing around though...

ONe of the comments at youtube say Keith Richards liked this song a lot but I don't get what the commentator is about saying...
"Keith Richard loved this record so much, he lifted the riff and stuck it into the Stones version of "Just your Imagination" on the Steel Wheels album. I used to sit with Keith as he played this record over and over again in '7"
Sounds a bit confused...
None the less, if it is the BCR version or this one, it's a great song...
I like the Eric Faulkner Bay City Rollers version, that is a good one but a bit obscure.
Had some jeans that were basically Roller styled, kind of cool....

I am always impressed by the bass player on this one, solid drumming also, very underrated
Elevation and Torn Curtain are sublime
cons:
guitar wanking at its best
I don't understand most of the lyrics except maybe the "did you feel low? nah at all - huh?" part
and last but not least, Tom Verlaine looks like an anorexic who also has terminal cancer on the cover
