Paris, July 8th 1978 - knocks me out every time, when combining quality with performance.....it's one of the absolute best Dylan live recordings ever made

the paris shows were among my favorites from the tour back when that tour was still fresh in my experience and memory. i remember being very surprised how different these gigs sounded from the far east shows that had been booted. but they were much closer to what i recall having heard at my portland, or dylan show that fall....

never knew you saw Dylan in 1978, stonesTod - that must have been......quite something, to say the least. Bob Dylan in Europe or US 1978 are the only concerts I'd love to witness more than Rolling Stones in US 1972

a fun mixture of styles. was thinking of seeing the show here in austin - but the daughter couldn't score me freebies thru her job at the venue. and in austin, if it ain't free, why bother?

Yep, and seems, from Serbia, that Imelda May stole the show.

If you haven't seen the Woody Allen movie Sweet and Lowdown where Django Reinhardt
is played by a brilliant Sean Penn, do yourselves a big favour and check it out.
