Prices for Berlin!

Hi All,
I'm looking to buy a FOS for Berlin and am a little surprised at how much this'll cost.
The basic ticket price is €131 (ouch!),but then to get it to me in the UK it'll cost anothe €34!!!
Are they wanting us to pay for the renovation of the OlympiaStadion?
It just seems a little on the high side compared to other venues.
I have e-mailed Eventim.de to ask if I can collect the ticket from the box-office on the night,to try and cut-out some of the expense.
Rant over!
Cheers,
Si.
(Apologies if this really should be on the 'All Sold Out' board!)

They charge that much because they use DHL. I don't know why they can't just send the ticket by normal mail

Get FOS now for Milan instead, much cheaper and offer a collection option.

There's several reasonably priced hotel/flying options from the UK.
I've just booked flight, 3* hotel and ticket for less than £200.

Hi Paul,
I'd love to be at the Milan-opener but work will not allow any more time-off/changing leave. Can't think why!
Cheers,
Si.

Hi Simon,
I can offer you to get the ticket sent to my address in Germany and I would send it to England with registered mail. Would only cost about 3 or 4 Euros extra. Did the same for Adam, a Polish Stones fan who had the same problem. So if you are interested, email me privately. We can get it together, and....you can trust me!

They send it with dhl company because it is much more expensive than with normal mail. the dhl company is a former part of the German Post, now it is privatised but much more worse than the former one. the main owner of dhl is still the german goverment, like it is of the german telekom. Project your own conclusions about this.
