Yeah maybe it's too much up-tempo but when I'm in love I wake up in the morning with a full-volume (Your Love keeps me) Higher and Higher by Jackie Wilson...

That's for sure - Mick kept Bowie rocking. Bowie lost the rock to his roll after they split up.
Yeah, it's on Hunky Dory. I'm having myself a Bowie day.

NICOS I haven't played it yet, but Sound & Vision disk one just came on, so I have a few more songs before I get to it. Know for sure, that I will be in music bliss in about 15 minutes!
CowgirlInTheSand Wrote: ------------------------------------------------------- > Hey! I LOVE Mick Ronson, does that count?
Yeah of course! But count towards what? Giving us a good opinion of yourself? I was reading the Louisville thread and it sounds as though you've already got quite a fanbase!
Ronson's cool. Never a huge Bowie fan - although I have pretty much everything he's done (oh, I guess I am a huges Bowie fan or just a maniacal, neurotic collector)...but my fave Ronson is his work with Dylan on the RTR tour...

Cindy, I was just trying to get in on the love/Mick Ronson combo thing. I gave someone a Mick Ronson project, but I don't know if he's interested enough to humor me.
This one's for my little love My little love CindyC When I think of my little love I know she is just right for me sometimes when she BBQ's I watch here from up above I will sit in my treehouse and watch her cook just watch my little super wonder love
This one's for my little love My little love CindyC Sometimes when the mood is right we go out back and play the game show me your pee pee Sometimes when she pets her pussy cat I lean right back and watch her radiate her love
I'm so lucky to have found her cause she's as pure as a new born dove and after a hard day at the office and when I'm stinky in the tub I just yell out for my CindyC to come upstairs and my back to scrub
Our love is pure our love comes from up above our love is so special and she fits me just like a little CindyC love glove
I don't know man....I'm cryin' (and I don't care who hears it)
good morning everybody! i'm back at work and want to thank you all for your inspiring suggestions. "loving cup" is definetly one of the greatest all time love songs, thank you cindy. "hate it when you leave", yes i do. "wonderful tonight" is also a very romantic song (and worked very good once in the past).by led zep i would also think about "all of my love". the "hunky dory" record i put on saturday morning (ahem, well it was in the afternoon after gettin up after a fantastic tekkno-party, where the object of my desire was working at the bar). when i woke up i had the "wake up you sleepy head..." line on my mind. so i played the record. the sad thing is - she did not call yesterday. so yesterday evening the little man inside my head played "almost hear you sigh", "out of tears" and "don't tear me up" by mick. the last song i asked for last night was "shine a light".
today i felt like "i don't know why". but as eric burdon sings in "tobacco road": "life goes on and on and on"... i close now with blondie. "call me"!

HAHAHAHA MB - YOU'RE FREAKING CRAZY!!!! I've never had a song written for me before (apparently, I'm no Patti Boyd) so thanks! I'm extremely honored. :-)

You're welcome twanghound, but Cowgirl was the smart one to think of Loving Cup, I was just agreeing.
Sorry she didn't call. Sometimes girls get shy, or liked to be chased. Perhaps you call her... I once had a guy I met call up every person in the phonebook with my last name till he found me. That kind of effort means a lot to a girl. You could do something like that perhaps?
Good call on "Oh You Pretty Things" That's a good wake up song.
Good story love bug...I did that once too. I was trying to call Cindy Crawford so I called every Crawford in the book. Too bad I was in Memphis and forgot she lived in NYC, you know how many dimes I went through?....well, an effing lot, I'll tell you that..... Glad you like the song, was cryin' for hours, has that ying/yang kinda "Here, There, Everywhere" vibe to it I think....

MB - You must love that Cindy Crawford. She was better looking when she was younger, now she doesn't tan, and he eyebrows are too thin. I met her once about 10 years ago. It was at a book release party for Arthur Elgort who had just released a book of his fashion photographs. I forget what it's called but it has Christy T. on the cover. Anyway, Cindy was there. She's a lot thinner in person than she seems.
Erik - the Bowie conversation is still happening - no need to quit your job!

Thanks, CindyC, but seeings how there were only two Cryzelnishels in the phone book, and the other one was your parents, it really wasn't that difficult for me to find you.
So cindy get your coat on Leave the rent with the gent up in the penthouse Turn your music so loud let’s attract a big crowd We’ll drink a round to this town and bid goodbye
