would there be a tour in 2007?

I think the Stones will get the tour back on track and that everything will be finished at the latest in 2006. I am not sure that they will keep on touring for 2 years because of Keith's coconut accident. To me, they can reorganize the tour in a way that a minimun of dates will be definitely cancelled if any. But they won't tour forever. It is like there would be a 2nd European tour and when would that take place?@The tour will be finished in December 2006C perhaps beforeB It would be too much trouble to organize a European tour in 2007 just to replace the postpone/cancelled showB

This is from the office of Ronnie Wood:
> Dear Client

> Many venues have been postponed, not cancelled. In fact, there is talk of expanding the European Tour into 2007. As soon as I know, I will contact you. Obviously, several galleries are not able to accommodate us with the exhibition as they are already fully booked, so we will have to look for other venues. Meanwhile, we are commencing with the exhibitions in Munich,
Amsterdam, Rotterdam, London and Birmingham at The Number Nine Gallery.

A little OT:
I love Russia and Russians (as long as they dont invade Sweden... ;0) )
But their poor alphabet, the Chyrillic, lacks "h".
Hamlet is Gamlet and Copenhagen Copengagen [Kappenga:gen].
Weird but logical once ya comprehend it.
I believe they borrowed the vikings (not Stonesvikings)
name for scarf: our "halsduk"(chest-cloth) is "galsdok".
They have a troat-created "xh-"-sound, like in
Archangelsk or Chabarovsk. / 'nuff from Professor BB

And "halsduk" again shows that there are big similarities to the German language where it's "Halstuch" - the russian "xh" sound might be the same as the "ch" sound in German, I guess winking smiley 'nuff from Research Assistant Lorenz

As Lorenz said: it is very near to the German word, I have to say that is also very near to the Dutch. (no surprise...?!) In Dutch the word is sjaal, from the english shawl, but if you would descibe it in Dutch it would be a *doek voor om de hals*, a cloth around the neck: een halsdoek.
That is probably also the word that was used before the english word took over.

Another word for that in German is actually "Schal" (sjaal, shawl) - but it's more something that you would put around your neck to warm it, a "Halstuch" is a smaller and made of lighter fabric.

[sorry for more way-off-OT : ] 'hals' is an ancient ancient Germanic word,
we use it for small land or islandic/archipelagic passages like "Hårs-"
"Håls-" and "Hörs-' (pronounced hörs/haurs). The county of Hälsingland
is also from the word root of 'hals'. My county's name is also from
those small river bays: Angermannia. Russian curiers ran around here
from at least AD 800, many encounters (more in another thread?!).

There is one in Poland, by the seaside close to where I live. It is called Hel to be precise but is spelled the same. So a lot of people here spend their vacation in Hel(l) smiling smiley

Imo most languages are a mess. Why can't everybody speak Swedish? That would be much more easier.

There is a vanishing political 'movement' fighting for that.
