i'm going to a US show this fall, even if they're playing from atop a heap of cardboard boxes.

Shawn20 ,

Not really you place it at one end of the Arena and it would extend our far enough to eliminate the B-Stage. It's going to be awesome.

Guys -I have an office in Halifax and get out there about 4 times a month. If there is a concert booked there in September, it must be the best kept secret in the world. Also there are only two decent hotels in Halifax with a total of maybe 400 rooms.

I can't believe there is a chance in hell that this concert will happen.

Sorry.

Your posts are pure nonsense! You are a source of second guessing. You have no deep spy, and your previous posts (ex: the press conference) have proved your own self to be far from correct.

I don't think the word BUSH and Rolling Stones belong in the same sentence, especially not attached to any kind of BLESSING. Since Mick is not a Bush fan, it really is not a fit!! Anyway, if the European leg of the tour falls short of their monetary expectations, the Stones WILL return to the USA in September to make up for their losses. I dont know about other American fans but I spent WAY TOO MUCH last year on hotels, transportation and TICKETS! I will surely go to numerous shows but maybe not as many as other years. Does anyone else find it difficult to spend this much on concerts???

Debra, I agree bush & Stones do not belong in same sentence. bush does not belong on here period.

I went to 5 US shows last year. No way I will put forth that effort and amount of $$ again this year.

A tour start around September 20th worries me because,it would seem to be more difficult to overhaul the set list like they did for the '99 tour with such a short break. It actually needs to be changed more now than it did then unless they start doing it at least a little bit in Europe.

I hope The Stones will play Cleveland. Cleveland is a class city that rocks like no other. Toronto will probably be on the list too. I doubt Buffalo. Economy is so week there.

Oh no you don't...You are taking common knowledge and making it seem like you got an inside source.

I'll prove it -

1. You said you think Europe will get the short end of the stick. Well the tour dates have been listed on RS.com besides everybody here already knowing that. A previous post by your own self acknowledged a press release.

2. This Holiday Inn Select crap for Halifax. The Stones at a Holiday Inn? C'mon now. I will bet you what ever $ amount you want that is bullshit.

3. You keep avoiding the fact I pointed out about you being a blow hard about the press conference being in Boston and you gave the same type of we'll see comment and it WAS in NY.

4. We all know NY is in for sept. I can speculate MSG to play it safe or Yankee Stadium because they are on the road from the 18th to the 25th but I won't.

I'll say it again. You are a source of speculation and you try to interwind it with already known facts.

You are the bad equivilant of a John Edward.

YOU HAVE NO INSIDE INFO WHATSOEVER!

As for the the short end of the Stick I meant that they did not go well into September or October with there tour schedule to put all the dates back togther ...Cohl made it clear here are the new Datews ending Sept 3,2006...... Lets face it when you cancel 15 shows it becomes a logistical nightmare were not talking 1 or 2 shows to reschedule

Firstly I said the Stones Camp not the Stones themselves at the Holiday Inn Select

Secondly try Giants Stadium instead of MSG or Yankee Stadium

Call it what you want Speculation... Fantasy... Dreams.... Visions.... will see you there

Well MY SOURCES Tell me due to the late start in Europe, we won't see the boys until mid-October and they WILL play MSG, too cold for Giants Stadium by then. Then Boston, Hartford Civic Center, on to Philly for early November and then to Washington D.C., then Baltimore and on to Florida then to the West Coast for December.

Re: Stones in the USA in September

Jones Beach,Long Island,N.Y. on Labor Day would be a good idea but,its not going to happen this year. The Schedule is too tight.Indianapolis hasn't had a show since '94 after getting two stadium shows on the Steel Wheels tour. They must still be able to sell out an arena there.

The tongue stage from the superbowl has already been prepped for the Arena shows Mark my words on this.

Re: Stones in the USA in September

Halifax? Maybe. The Holiday Inn is right next to the Commons were the concert could happen. The Back Street Boys did a show there way back when they meant something to whomever. Still, I haven't heard any more buzz. I'm wondering if all this rescheduling has changed a possible Sep 23rd show.

The Super Bowl stage was made of cheap plywood and metal tubing for support. The seams were uneven at ever section. This stage was made for one time use only and was diassembled totally into peices soon afterwards.

That would be a good way to sell $850 face value tickets.

WNY,

Your are probably rigt about the quick cheap construction job for the Superbowl stage with the time restraints. Again, Mark my words the Arena shows in the US will have (maybe not the exact stage used at the Superbowl) but it will be an exact replica of that stage.

The Superbowl stage construction was mighty fine I gotta tell you.

I demand it be used in the States when the boys return to the Land of the Free.

The construction was awesome and they ought to have an obligation to use it again.

I would also wish for a few dates in Canada. Arena shows would be real nice.

This thread reminds me a lot about the ones about Hair implants and UK gigs.

If you think about the design of the stage, it looks quite much like U2 has been using..... - the circle where people can stay in the middle....

Of course U2 didn't use the tounge, but else.....

They always steal from the Stones.
