Yeah, baby! Shane & Co. make their first west coast trek in 15 years in October....two shows at the Fillmore - I'm down for #2! Woo Hoo.

One of the greatest bands ever..... with one of the greatest lyric writers ever!!!! Seen them several times and their simply a must! Everyone should own the last greatest hits, Rum Sodomy and the Lash and the Town & Country DVD.

Great band, MacGowan's solo stuff is not bad either. Talk about "could this be the last tour?". With Shane he always looks like his next breath could be his last. Kind of how I look, come to think of it.

I believe he re-grouped with the Pogues sometime in '05. they did a quick run of a handful of east coast shows in March of this year....

I LOOOVE the freakin' Pogues. Always have. They were in Boston back in March, and I was unable to attend. I was depressed for a week over it. This is a great band, and with Shane (who is indeed in a sorry state) they are nothing less than legendary. Have fun West coasters!
