And moreover .... I hope that I was wrong in other thoughs too ..... and that the concerts will happen and Keith will be OK. It just seemed to me that the info RS.com gives is not very exact and informative.

Well, it is not their duty to stimulate rumors, and surely they have insurance policies that prohibits them to make a sign that something might be wrong. So it is clear to me why their information is as such. Also, K.R. is a person like anybody of us and deserves right for privacy, I bet that he does not like the fact he cannot perform.

But, anyway ... I would like to have more info, about the concerts especially. They said at 08/05/06, that they will announce rescheduling shortly. And they said it today too. This is bad, to inform like that,

Sounds to me like they (ie the Band) know when Keith can a) fly to Europe; b) rehearse and c) start touring. Now its up to Michael Cohl to sort out the schedule! Thats what he does for a living; thats what the band employs him for.

Lets also remember the flight from NZ to Europe is 24 hours - so Connecticut is also a good place to take a break/ lose some jetlag, not to mention the effects of flying after a hospital visit.

Hopefully, Elmo, more news or info is to come within a short time.
No idea yet, no one has about Göteborg or the other June dates.
But Keith is well and that is - for me - all that matters.

Just glad he was able to make the flight home.

Just refering to the news at rs.com, and have some comments from the promoters in Bergen saying that they still don't know anything about any postponement, but they doubt that they'll be the tour opener, as they think the concert is too small for that, and might have trouble to handle all the media fuzz around it.

A little more from Yahoo UK / PA :

Stones Richards back after brain op
Monday May 22, 04:20 PM

Rolling Stone Keith Richards is back home in the US following his brain operation, his spokesman has confirmed.

The 62-year-old had spent the past 10 days in New Zealand recovering from surgery.

"He is feeling great, happy to be home and looking forward to getting back on the road with the Rolling Stones next month," the spokesman said.

The European leg of the Bigger Bang tour was due to begin at the end of this month but has been put back by a few weeks.

A revised tour schedule is expected soon.

Richards flew from New Zealand, where he underwent the surgery, to his home in Connecticut with wife Patti Hansen.

He required surgery to drain blood from his brain after falling out of a palm tree during a holiday in Fiji earlier this month.

Like Keith Keith always says: 'It's good to be here, it's good to be anywhere"

But I'm sure he's glad to be home again

Sod the details of the tour schedule !

Lets just be glad that the doomsayers were proved wrong and that Keith really is OK.
Even the greatest optimists amongst us had our doubts amongst all the varied speculation. I'm suddenly happy !
[I'll probably have a stupid grin on my face for the rest of the day...and I'll certainly raise a glass to Keith this evening ;^) ]

Thez first one is postponed, according to both ticketing services and the Stade de France website

dunhill, if you check on the Stade de France website, you can see that it's open for visitors on 3rd of June whereas it mentions the Stones concert on 2nd of July.
So really you can consider it postponed or cancelled .

It takes at least 2 weeks from Auckland to LA by boat....
However it's one of those statements which says nothing. We have been put on hold for much to long. Anyway at least something will move.
Keep on rocking

But on the other hand he must have his privacy.
This way he may have gotten rid of the paparazzis during flight.
