Baggrunden for de mulige aflysner er, at guitaristen Keith Richards for et par uger siden faldt ned fra et træ, da han var på ferie på Fiji-øerne. Ved faldet pådrog han sig en skade i hjernen, som han nu er blevet operet for.

Officielt er han i bedring, men der har været forlydender om, at skaden er langt værre, end bandet vil være ved.

At this point, no concerts are cancelled.
The first few concerts are postponed. Barcelona and Madrid are so far the only concerts confirmed by rs.com to be postponed.
Expressen is a tabloid, and their "Stones concert at Ullevi cancelled" headline is not based on anything solid.

Baboon Bro is straight to the point. Everything we know so far about Gothenburg and Bergen is based on rumours from several fan-sites. These days you have to be a very good and hardworking reader to trace out "truth" from "rubbish". Hopefully we will get to know very soon from official sources. I really hope that no more concerts will be cancelled or postponed. Far above that, I hope Mr. Keith Richards gets well.

Don't believe what is written in the press. They rewrite and recycle anything these days. A story in the UK press some days said something about worst case money loss scenario and then suddenly other papers just pretend all JUNE shows are cancelled and think it is true. The fact is only two shows are cancelled right now - Barcelona and Madrid. There may be a few more cancellations but that is all up to the latest check of Keith. And it is a big difference in flying and actually being on stage for two hours. And when I say "cancelled" I mean pulled off for a possible later rescheduling.

It's the Swedish newspaper Expressen who started this rumours.
And that's the same paper that said Keith had two operations, one in the brains.
And some headlines were: Mrs. Richards smuggles Wiskey into Keith's room, Keith Richards brain damaged and so on.

Red on the biggest Norwegian paper, VG, about cancelling Gothenburg yesterday, but I don't believe it.

I hate gossip! And I hate Expressen!

Anyway rumors are only created when reliable sources to not make a firm statement. I just cannot wait forever to reschedule flights and or cancel hotels. Tickets is a different issue. I made an e-mail to ServiceCAixa in Spain and so far the would not give any refund... as so many things are not sure.
I do not mind cancellation even if it is until mid or end of June, but it would be nice to get a reliable information. That's all..

As Keith was brain-scanned yesterday, and
seems to have gotten a green light to fly soon;
we ought soon to expect an announcement.

Don't belive the tabloids. Both Bergen and Gothenburg may be delayed/postponed/cancelled, but nothing is yet confirmed by the Stones. What they say, and what I trust, is that the tour will start in june. I rather wait for a offical statement, than spend to much time reading crap. If the Gothenburg concert is cancelled - why do the norwegian promoters keep saying they don't know anything yet.

i guess people like to dramatize the situation...... We have to keep our head cool and look at what is actually happening now. Keith seems to be ok and he has left (I guess) N.Z. That is good news.... Now let's wait and see until there is something confirmed, no panic one way or the other.

Yes. The tabloids is rubbish 90% of the time. It's actually a good thing that the board (IORR) goes through this, because we go through the process of learning that the tabloid press is bullshit, and that there's really not many papers that write the correct things when it all comes tumbling down.
