I just got a copy of the video of the '78 show - it's lousy sound and video quality, but the show was super. I think '78 is my favorite tour based on the Memphis, Detroit, New Jersey shows I have in good sound quality and the Dallas video of six or eight songs. I hope they do Baton Rouge in the Fall when they come back to the States.

Rooster.......Ali & The Stones were both "on the ropes" in '78.....and both showed why they're the all-time heavyweight champs in their respective fields........the "old-timer" Ali regains his title against Spinks....and the dinosaurs of rock reclaim their throne with Some Girls.........'78 will never be forgotten

Well, as I´m optimistic, the tour will be on, so if you´re coming to Gothenburg, Horsens, Bergen or London, please let me be the first to buy you a beer for your points. True poetry there!

I heard alcohol is very expensive in your country...does that have something to do with your wild viking history!!??

Yes, the government says we can´t handle it, so they lay all kinds of taxes on it, to keep us from it. It has a long history, too long to tell. But instead we travel to Denmark or Germany to get it.

Alcohol is for free in Sweden, compared to Norway.
Guns, gasoline and alcohol costs a fortune.

FYI on the Superdome, incidentally:

The NFL is playing all Saints home games there this year, starting September 25th. It's to be noted that the Saints will be on the road for their first two games, and will play their two preseason home games elsewhere on the Gulf Coast. That's the NFL being careful and providing maximum time for restoration, but come September, the Superdome is back!

NOLA '78 was my first Stones experience as well. 80,000-plus and general admission in the Superdome.

I never heard of an audio recording of the Seattle show from 1978

While checking, i noticed that they only played 5 shows on my birthday, july 18 : 1972 (phillie-THE day), 1975 (Seattle), 1978 (Ft Worth), 1998 (Vigo) and 2003 (Stockholm)

I the only one I have is 1978 !!
Do some of you have the other ones ???
Are they good ??? I'd love to set up a trade to get those !!!
