<Cream Filmore'68>

This is a great record (Disc 2 of Wheels Of Fire, right?). The funny thing is that the record is named "Live At The Fillmore", but only "Toad" (the drum solo-song) is recorded there. The rest is recorded at "Winterland".

Thanks DP, I knew it wasn't correct, I downloaded Filmore concert but I couldn't find anything on the net about this, so it's winterland, is the year correct '68 ?

THIS IS THE LIST!

1) Dylan - Live 1975 (What a band! Joyous, cathartic, chaotic!)
2) The Band - Rock if Ages (Don't want to hang up my rock and roll shoes!)
3) Neil Young - Weld OR Live Rust (it's a tie)
4) Stones - Brussels Affair (docked three notches because it's not official)
5) Springsteen - Live 1975-1985
6) The Who - Live at Leeds (honorable mention)

Who chose the Leonard Cohen? Interesting choice, haven't heard it. Love Cohen, but what does/did he cound like in concert?

The Stones should take a page out of Springsteen's book - release the Archives! Don't pull a Neil Young on us!

He's got 3 live albums...."Live Songs" "Leonard Cohen Live In Concert" and "Field Commander Cohen". The last one there, is the only one that really does it for me. From 1979 with a magnicent, magnificent band to back him up. It's just something everyone that likes Cohen should have....

Brussels 1973 is the best one but of course not officaly released.

So.....
Ya Ya's
Sam Cooke - Live at Harlem Square Club
Style Council - Live In Concert
David Bowie - David Live
Nirvana - Unplugged (even if i'm not a fan of the band)

A funnt thing is that every album mentioned in this thread has been released in the 60's or 70's.

Zeppelin - How The West Was Won
Get Your Ya Yas Out/Love You Live
Neil Young - Live Rust
Band Of Gypsies
Allman Bros. - Live At Ludlowe Garage, like it better than the Filmore album
Grateful Dead - One From the Vault

more than 5 but couldn't leave any of those out.

There is a new Blind Melon live cd that just came out that is great. Its from a show about 2 weeks before Shannon Hoon died. That band was destined for greatness, what a shame.
