Well they're very vague about the whole thing. It wasn't such a secret when Charlie got cancer

no we didnt

we were told about it only when the News of the World broke the story - he had been diagnosed months earlier and was already receiving radiotherapy. The Stones management then released statements saying that he was recovering.

This link to the (right now) most recent page, may be more updating.
Yet its still confusing.
No bad signs whatsoever today; is my personal conclusion.

ROCKER Keith Richards may NEVER play with The Rolling Stones again, docs warned yesterday.

The guitarist was last night battling in hospital after a second op to stop one part of his brain crushing the other.

And wife Patti Hansen — who is leading the family vigil at his bedside — has already been warned Keef’s days of performing live could be OVER.

Medics say he might end up brain damaged or partly paralysed due to falling from a palm tree on holiday.

Keith had planned to be in Barcelona, Spain, for the start of the band’s European leg of their Bigger Bang world tour.

But that is now clearly in doubt.
